Casino
The Casino at Mistwood Park sits just off the hotel lobby on Beach Street, a short walk from the Queenstown waterfront. It is a compact, unhurried room rather than a cavernous gaming hall: a bar along one wall, tables in the middle, slot machines around the edges, and windows that keep the lake in view until the light goes.
On the floor
The gaming floor holds slot machines with stakes from NZ$0.10, and live table games dealt nightly: blackjack, roulette and poker, with baccarat run on busier evenings. Minimum bets at the tables start at NZ$5 and are posted at each table before play.
The casino bar serves through the evening, with Central Otago wine, local beer and a short cocktail list. Live music plays on the small stage on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Host responsibility
We take host responsibility seriously. Our staff are trained to identify the signs of problem gambling and to approach guests discreetly. Breaks and self-exclusion are available on request at any time — ask any member of the casino team or the duty manager. Clocks are visible on the gaming floor, there are no ATMs anywhere on the casino floor, and we do not extend credit for play.
Anyone who appears intoxicated will not be permitted to play, and we will always call a taxi for a guest who needs one.
If gambling is causing problems for you or someone you know, call the Gambling Helpline free and confidentially on 0800 654 655, available 24/7, or visit choicenotchance.org.nz.
